Changing lives, one vision at a time across Northern Bangladesh
Measurable results that transform communities
Building stronger, healthier communities
Restored vision enables individuals to return to work, increasing family income and reducing dependency. Our programs have contributed to an estimated 15% increase in household income for beneficiary families.
Clear vision is essential for learning. Our school screening programs have improved academic performance and reduced dropout rates in participating schools by addressing vision problems early.
Blindness often leads to social isolation. By restoring sight, we help individuals reconnect with their communities, participate in social activities, and regain their independence and dignity.
We've strengthened the local healthcare system by training health workers, establishing referral networks, and improving access to quality eye care services in underserved areas.
Voices from our community

"As a mother, seeing my child struggle with reading broke my heart. CECRC's school program identified his vision problem and provided glasses. Now he's at the top of his class. Thank you for giving my son a better future."
